Disney World
The resort was opened to the public in 1971. Initially, it only consisted of Magic Kingdom, but later Epcot, MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom were added. Apart from the four theme parks, the resort also consists of water parks, golf courses, a sports complex, numerous hotels, dining and shopping places. It also includes the Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Downtown Disney, Disney Quest and many more interesting places. Magic Kingdom holds various entertaining rides and games like Mickey’s Toontown Fair, Space Ranger Spin, Magical Moment’s Parade and more. Visitors can also experience thrilling encounters with wild animals through the Kilimanjaro Safaris, Camp Mickey-Minnie and Festival of the Lion King.
Busch Gardens
Busch Gardens is the ultimate family adventure park offering an array of fascinating attractions based on exotic encounters with the African continent. Seaworld
Florida’s SeaWorld Orlando is beyond anything you could ever imagine in a theme park. Shamu will take you to the edge of wonder, the sea lions will delight, and the dolphins grace the skies like ballerinas. And when it’s time to ride, nobody seems to be able to tame the bad-tempered roller coaster Kraken. At SeaWorld, waves will crash over, and the sun will energize you and your family all day. From the rugged northern Pacific coast beaches, to tropical rainforests and to an Arctic base, it’s an amazing world in itself. And they mean amazing.
Universal Studios
You’re the star at Universal Studios, the number one movie and TV based theme park in the world. At this real film and television studio you’ll go behind the scenes, beyond the screen and right into the action of your favourite movies. With an incredible array of rides, shows, and attractions, you’ll get deep into the action of your favourite movies and TV shows. With more excitement per square foot than anywhere else, it’s the most unique theme park in Orlando, and one of most popular attractions in Florida.
Epcot
Epcot is divided into two different 'lands' - Future World, which brings guests face to face with scientific achievements and tomorrow's technologies; and World Showcase, which opens the door to cultures from around the globe celebrating the sights, sounds and cuisines from 11 nations
Islands of Adventure
Journey with your family through five remarkable islands where all your favorite myths, legends, comic books, cartoon heroes and children’s stories come to life on the most innovative rides and attractions ever created
Kennedy Space Centre
A trip to the Kennedy Space Center is a must-do when travelling to Florida. See how a space shuttle goes from take-off to landing, learn about the history of space exploration and dine with an astronaut. Where else in the world do history and the future, nature and technology, young and old meet for an unforgettable and inspirational journey through space and time? The Kennedy Space Center has hosted millions of guests from around the world for more than 30 years -- telling the story of how the United States built a space program that launched men to the Moon, orbited satellites that have improved our lives, and sent probes into distant space to solve the mysteries of the cosmos.
Wet’n Wild
Hypnotizing thrills await as you and your friends encounter a splashing dose of group therapy on Brain Wash, Wet 'n Wild’s newest water thrill adventure. Boogie down on Disco H2O. Take a relaxing journey into Florida’s past through breathtaking waterfalls on the Lazy River or get soaked down a ruptured pipeline on The Blast.
Beaches
Atlantic Coast
Cocoa beach is a great spot for a family beach vacation and is located about an hour or so south of Daytona Beach, and very near Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center. In fact, from northern Cocoa Beach you can actually see the tall shuttle launch facilities at the space center.
Daytona Beach has something for everyone, but really it just has too much of everything. Daytona is Orlando's beach. Daytona packs a lot into a fairly short stretch of beach. Lots of shops selling souvenirs, T-shirts, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants, but not a lot of what you'd call fine dining. Especially around the pier, Daytona has a carnival atmosphere.
Gulf Coast
Clearwater Beach is a busy, visitor-oriented vacation destination. It has everything a visitor looking for entertainment could want, all crammed into a fairly small area. There is plenty of nightlife for singles too. Clearwater Beach attracts a much younger crowd than most of the Gulf Coast. It is clean, modern, and has lots to do. There are all types of boat tours, fishing charters, dolphin-watching cruises, dinner cruises, beach clothing stores, restaurants and souvenir shops.
The beaches of Sarasota stretch over 35 miles along the west coast of Florida on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. The beaches here have received such prestigious awards as the "finest and whitest sand in the world" and the "Best of the Best Sand." Because Sarasota is on Florida's west coast, we have the most awesome, colourful sunsets over the water.
It is not uncommon in the waters of Sarasota to witness bottlenose dolphins, manatees, pelicans, and a variety of interesting fish species. The clean, turquoise water in the Gulf is very warm and comfortable to swim in and the rolling waves are gentle, so there is much to be enjoyed about the beaches here.
